Symbol for a coward

Since Brown was handed the reigns of the UK - unopposed - he has bottled out of a general election (which he stood an excellent chance of winning, until the Tories unnerved him), bribed his way out of the 10p tax revolt.

"Borrowing" £2.7bn to pay back to the losers of the 10p tax band was bad enough, but at least it paid off taxpayers (albeit with their own money); but when it came to the 42-day detention without trial law, Brown stooped to new lows. Since there is no way to bribe the electorate, Brown chose instead to directly bribe MPs themselves - in a move which eventually worked, and the 42 day law scraped through the commons with 9 votes to spare.

This disingenuous way out of a problem - resorting to, frankly, illegal bribery - instead of fighting the issue on its merits, is typical of our coward of a Prime Minister. As he is clearly delusional about his own yellow streak, it's time the British Public sent him a message. And what better than the universal symbol of cowardice, than a single white feather?
